Banana Honey Porridge


2 cups rolled oats
2 cups low-fat milk
2 cups water
1/20 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/3 cup honey
2 bananas, sliced

Combine oats, milk and water in a saucepan. Bring to boil. Simmer, stirring, for about 5 minutes or until thick. Remove from heat. Stir in cinnamon and honey. Serve porridge topped with bananas.

Replace honey with maple syrup or brown sugar.
Stir in any combination of dried fruits or nuts.
